FUNCTION

The DEF doser injector delivers diesel exhaust fluid into the exhaust aftertreatment system as part of the emissions control process. Proper dosing supports the operation of the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system.

A worn, damaged, or failing DEF doser injector may cause symptoms such as:

• DEF dosing system fault codes
• Check engine or emissions warning lights
• SCR system performance issues
• Increased emissions
• DEF dosing irregularities
• Difficulty meeting emissions requirements

WHY REPLACE A DEF DOSER INJECTOR?

A faulty DEF doser injector may interfere with proper DEF delivery and exhaust aftertreatment operation. Replacing a confirmed defective injector with the correct part can help restore proper dosing function and support emissions system performance.
