APPLICATIONS

The 5506957 DEF Doser Pump is intended for compatible Cummins ISX and QSX engine aftertreatment systems. Always verify the original part number and engine configuration before purchase.

FUNCTION

The DEF Doser Pump supports the delivery of diesel exhaust fluid to the exhaust aftertreatment system. Proper DEF dosing helps the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from diesel exhaust.

A worn, damaged, or failing DEF Doser Pump may cause symptoms such as:

• DEF dosing system fault codes
• SCR system warning messages
• Incorrect DEF delivery
• Increased NOx emissions
• Engine power derating
• Reduced aftertreatment system performance

WHY REPLACE A DEF DOSER PUMP?

A faulty DEF Doser Pump can disrupt the DEF supply required for proper SCR system operation. Replacing a worn or damaged 5506957 with the correct Genuine OEM Cummins component can help restore proper DEF dosing and support reliable emissions control.
