4046837 | Genuine OEM Cummins Turbocharger HE351VE Actuator

The 4046837 is a Genuine OEM Cummins turbocharger actuator designed for use with HE351VE variable-geometry turbocharger systems. It controls the turbocharger’s variable geometry to help maintain proper boost and engine performance.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Part Number: 4046837
Brand: Cummins
Condition: Genuine OEM
Component: Turbocharger Actuator
Fuel Type: Diesel
Engine Applications: Cummins diesel engine applications equipped with an HE351VE turbocharger
Other important specifications: Electronic actuator for HE351VE variable-geometry turbocharger systems. Verify application by part number and vehicle/engine configuration.

APPLICATIONS

Designed for Cummins diesel engine applications using an HE351VE variable-geometry turbocharger system. Always verify the original part number and complete vehicle/engine configuration before purchase.

FUNCTION

The turbocharger actuator controls the variable-geometry mechanism of the HE351VE turbocharger. Proper actuator operation helps regulate turbocharger airflow and boost according to engine operating conditions.

A worn, damaged, or failing turbocharger actuator may cause symptoms such as:
• Reduced engine power or acceleration
• Poor or inconsistent turbocharger boost
• Turbocharger performance problems
• Engine warning or fault codes
• Poor engine response under load
• Increased fuel consumption

WHY REPLACE A TURBOCHARGER ACTUATOR?

A properly functioning actuator is necessary for correct control of the HE351VE variable-geometry turbocharger. Replacing a faulty actuator can help restore proper turbocharger control and engine performance when the actuator is the source of the problem.

FITMENT INFORMATION
