FUNCTION

The SLR20 Side Radar Assembly monitors areas beside the vehicle and provides object detection information to a compatible blind spot monitoring system.

Depending on the vehicle's configuration, the system may use this information to warn the driver about nearby objects in monitored areas.

A worn, damaged, or failing SLR20 Side Radar Assembly may cause symptoms such as:

• Blind spot monitoring warning messages

• Missing side object detection alerts

• Intermittent blind spot warnings

• Radar sensor communication faults

• Inconsistent side object detection

• Driver assistance system malfunction indicators

WHY REPLACE A SLR20 SIDE RADAR ASSEMBLY?

A damaged or malfunctioning side radar assembly may prevent the vehicle's blind spot monitoring system from detecting nearby objects or providing intended warnings.

Replacing a defective 21585145 SLR20 Side Radar Assembly with a correctly matched replacement may help restore side object detection and support proper operation of compatible driver assistance functions.

Any required sensor diagnostics, configuration, or calibration should follow the vehicle manufacturer's service procedures.
